Avade - April 2017

BOOK NOW

The end of 2016 marked the dawn of AVADE’s full time touring career. Kicking off with a series of shows all over the country, the appropriately dubbed Relentless Tour has taken the band from Rustenburg to Cape Town and back again. All shows have proven to be very successful in building AVADE’s fan base both with the audiences they are playing to as well as the venue staff and owners. Being one of the only bands in South Africa to tour with a world class, state of the art PA and lighting system, AVADE has quickly built up a reputation as an act of high quality both in their performance, their production and their aggressive marketing campaigns.

Arguably one of the hardest working groups in the country, their show is full of energy, with singles such as “Girl Called Radio” and “Refugee” resonating strongly with audiences across all ages and demographics. Their wide range of covers and stylistic influences in their original material allows for mass market appeal, yet they are still able to tap into the niché blues and rock markets.

The tight and powerful rhythm section of Brendon Meintjes on drums and Ruben Thomas on bass/keys allows frontman Ross Meintjes (Brendon’s brother) ample opportunity to be the quintessential frontman, drawing on both old and new school influences that can turn any audience on. All of these elements combine to basically create a stadium show in a bar/club.

*PLEASE NOTE: DINNER FROM 6.30/7PM. SHOW TO START AT 8.30PM
