This May, the Aminal unleashes its menagerie of sonorous beasts upon the city. A mutation of loop station and live electronica, this performance showcases the metamorphasis of a folk artist into a darklit forest of flute licks, fat beats and basslines, cocooned in the shivering howls of the Wild Knowles. A creature of creation, for a moment caught in the clearing of Cafe Roux.
