Tuesday 22nd August – I will be performing a selection of old and new songs with a few classic covers thrown in. I will be joined by two incredible longtime music partners, Mark Fransman on piano and James Scholfield on guitar. Jasmine Minter will open the show and join us for a few tunes.

Jasmine Minter

Jasmine Minter is a 17 year-old, singer-songwriter from Cape Town. She is an indie-folk, pop artist who incorporates personal stories into her writing.
In her short career she has had the privilege to perform at venues such as the Baxter Theatre and the Kirstenbosch Concert Stage. She has also had the opportunity to perform with artists, such as Prime Circle, Sonik Citizen, Gavin Edwards, Chris Werge, Brynn and Mark Fransman.
In both 2015 and 2016, she was the opening artist at the Cape Town Folk ‘n Acoustic Music Festival. These concerts featured artists such as, Ard Matthews, Arno Carstens and David Kramer. This year, she featured on the same festival and teamed up with Gavin Edwards. She also sang with Sonik Citizen at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. She recently sang a duet with Ross Learmonth at the Prime Circle Kirstenbosch concert.
Near the end of 2016, she released her debut single “Gain” and in one month had hit 5000 views. She is to release her next single “Fakest of Smiles” later this year.
