cafe Roux Cape Town
With her emotive and haunting voice, New York-based singer songwriter Jeri Silverman brings her soul-stirring melodies home for a few select Cape Town performances.
“a performer with songs that won’t waste your time…the talent here burns so bright that missing it would be a shame” (Joshua Stryde – Music Existence)
For fans of Ben Howard / Ani DiFranco / Daughter – Silverman’s acoustic folky-pop melodies combined with electronic soundscapes produce a mesmerizing sound. Performing songs off her forthcoming full-length album, the songs explore the weight of living – and the interplay between darkness and light.
Backed by SA musicians James van Minnen (percussion), Adi Lazar (bass) and Nikolai Athiros (synths).
