Zimbabwe born Taryn Sudding is a singer, dancer and award winning actress who has worked in many areas of the industry for over 26 years, mostly in musical theatre. She has travelled the world performing in Cats and The Sound of Music and most recently she portrayed the role of Grace Farrell in Annie here in Cape Town. She is the lead recording artist for The Clamber Club albums and Guest Artist on Beautiful Creatures of the Sea album. She is mostly known as the presenter of Kideo and playing opposite Leon Schuster in Panic Mechanic.
Sean Sanby is a local Cape Town boy who is currently studying in his 3rd year for a degree in Jazz Performance at SACM (UCT). After starting music in school in Rondebosch he was chosen for the Standard Bank SA Big Band in the Grahamstown Jazz Festival, the Artscape Youth Jazz Festival and was also part of the Sekunjalo Edujazz Big Band. He has performed with a number of artists and groups across genres and featured on albums New Horizons and New Beginnings.
Francois Botha is a pianist in Cape Town who is active in the classical, jazz and popular music scene. He has worked with some of the finest artists in the country as well as abroad. After attending Bishops Diocesan College on a music scholarship, he commenced a BMus degree at UCT where he is currently studying piano. He is a multi awarding winning musician who works with a number of bands including his newest project – The Francois Botha Trio.
Taryn blends her smooth sultry vocals and talent as an actress to create a graceful presence that sparkles a hint of Hollywood glamour. Sean comes to the stage, wielding his double bass, showcasing its elegant beauty, singing through her deep soulful voice inviting piano-man Francois to mix in his own stylish blend of harmony and melody with a dash of pyrotechnics, altogether completing an audible cocktail of charisma.
