After a life-changing turn in direction and time to write and reflect Patrick is revving up the “Two Minute Puzzle bus” once again, because quite frankly it’s a journey and not a destination. Now that the bus has stopped swerving and doing donuts in the parking lot it’s cruising smoothly around town and picking up like-minded people along the way. 3rd stop: Cafe Roux in Cape Town 11 May.
Two Minute Puzzle has been a studio project, a band, and now a solo act with added features – the realised idea is that ‘the puzzle’ is always changing. Even prior to the single “Water” reaching #1 on 5fm, Two Minute Puzzle has been causing a stir in South Africa. No stranger to the national festival circuit with performances at Flamjangaled, White Mountain Folk Festival, Park Acoustics, Synergy Live and Rocking the Daisies, Pat has also collaborated with the likes of Jeremy Loops (“Turning Away” & “Hope Is”) as well as Gazelle and Inge Beckman. Pat is an excellent guitarist, has a strong melodic voice and uses powerful lyrics his audiences can sing along to. The combination of these attributes makes for a beautifully potent singer-songwriter performer.
