Wendy Oldfield and robin Auld

Wendy Oldfield and Robin Auld are Auldfield where they combine a mix of djembe, soul vocals, harmonica, stompboard and African blues guitar stylings to create a fresh roots sound.
Both veterans of the South African touring circuit with many hit songs along the way, their collaboration is uplifting and upbeat with roots versions of their old hits along with their contemporary catalogue
ROBIN AULD born in Lusaka, Zambia to Scots parents, had a childhood which was spent alternating between Southern Africa and Scotland; a journey reflected in the African and Celtic influences in his music.
Familiar to SA audiences from hits like “All of Woman” and “Baby you been good” which have been radio staples for 30 years, he learned to play the guitar by listening to Hendrix, Ry Cooder and Neil Young, also absorbing influences from the various guitarists of Southern Africa.
WENDY OLDFIELD started out as lead vocalist in the iconic rock band Sweatband, before moving on to the soul and African styles that produced her massive hit, Acid Rain.
She has performed with many SA artists such as Steve Newman, Paul Hamner, Lionel Bastos and Cindy Alter
An evening of stellar entertainment from two of SA’s top performers…not to be missed!
