As they followed the trail of groundbreaking research across Europe and the U.S., Becker and Massey tracked down pioneering scientists and leaders in alternative medicine, and revealed a whole new model for understanding and promoting wellness.
A full-length film, The Living Matrix brings breakthrough information that will transform your understanding of how to get well and stay well. Dynamic graphic-animation is woven with interviews with leading researchers and health practitioners as they share their discoveries on the “miracle cures” traditional medicine can t explain. “Quite simply put, the Rockerfellas are the love child (band) of both Spinal Tap and Steel Panther. In much the same way Andy Warhol screen-printed images to create his own original work, the Rockerfellas have created their very own ‘Rock Art’. Mashing anthems in rock history to create a fresh new sound, while still staying true to their rock idols, the Rockerfellas’ sound is as recognisable as your wife’s voice, but it’s as if she’s been taken over by a 19 year old nymphomaniac” I.P. MORE ABOUT MONARK

Home to some of South Africa’s most renowned legendary bands, Potchefstroom delivered their latest offering to the South African music scene – Monark – in May 2013 when the four piece pop rock band emerged with their first single, Smiling.

The band was formed when producer Ewald Jansen van Rensburg teamed up with friend and vocalist, Eugene Coetzer. For a couple of years they patiently developed and worked towards finding the specific sound they were after. Once they had discovered it, they gathered together the musicians that were needed to grow and perform the music, with Deon de Klerk joining the band on bass guitar and Graeme Wuth on drums. The band officially formed in August 2012, intent on making popular, yet tastefully engineered music with a cinematic feel.Â

With Eugenes unmistakably unique voice and soaring falsetto, Smiling immediately gained mainstream attention and popularity on major radio stations throughout South Africa. It peaked at No. 3 on 5FM Top 40 Chart and was a Top 20 hit on Highveld and KFM. The video also reached No. 1 on MKs Top 10 Chart.

December 2013 saw the release of Monarks second single and music video, entitled Build It Up. The single soon followed in the footsteps of Smiling success and charted on radio nationwide. It reached the Top 5 on 5FM’s Top 40 Chart, No. 2 on East Coast Radio and became the bands first No. 1 single, topping the Jacaranda FM Top 20 Chart, KFM and Highveldâs Kia Take 40 SA Chart as well as reaching No. 1 on Algoa FM.The bandS follow up songs – Something and You Make also did well through the end of 2014 into 2015, with a new singLe called Hush being released half way through last year to massive success across all radio stations, achieving Top 5 status in charts across the country and becoming a firm favorite at the live shows.

Monark achieved industry recognition winning the MK 2014 Award for Best Newcomer, along with being chosen as one of the selections in iTunes exclusive New Artist in 2014™ campaign. Hyroine collective is a dreamy, lofi, vocal driven, sparkly pop culture party that was collaged into existence. They are a power house of fem energy without even knowing it. They dress like a boy but don’t always want to be a man.

Hyroine is womxn working together; womxn supporting each other; womxn and men acting in a healthy way towards each other. We are here to learn and pass on intuitive knowledge to each other – music being the primary space for that interaction.

Hyroine believes that vulnerability is a strength, that being naked is empowering. She believes in turning perceived weaknesses into strengths. That’s how she learns to love herself. It’s a perception game that allows new ideas to emerge.

Travel with her into a glittering night with sparkling purple dust on your skin. Walk beside her on a pink cloudy day on rained out streets. She’ll lend you her lighter, she’ll make you hummus. She’s an educated womxn and her intuition is intelligent.

The Kiffness makes jazzy, groovy & uplifting house music and is fast becoming one of South Africa’s favourite live electronic acts. From the beginning of 2013, founder & brainchild David Scott has had great success in the South African music industry, racking up a total of 3 SAMA nominations and 10 singles playlisted across national radio stations – all of which have reached top 10 status in the top 40 charts.

Dave Scott founded the project in early 2011 when he arrived in Cape Town to pursue a career in music. During his studies at Rhodes University Dave played a handful of instruments in multiple bands while also DJing at a couple nightclubs. Upon arriving in Cape Town he was ready to use his experience in both live & electronic forms of music & fuse them to form a live electronic act.

From it’s relatively humble beginnings, Dave’s made his way from bedroom producer to building his own studio & becoming one of South Africa’s most reputable producers. He has collaborated with some of South Africa’s leading artists including Tresor, Shortstraw, Moonchild, Samuel Miller & Mathew Gold. With The Kiffness’ success on radio the project has gained major momentum and the group has had the opportunity of playing headlining slots at some of South Africa’s most reputable festivals such as Rocking the Daisies, Splashy Fen & Park Acoustics to name a few. They’ve also played international shows in the Seychelles, Lesotho, Swaziland (Bushfire), Zimbabwe (Vic Falls Carnival) & Vietnam.

Saxophone & synth extraordinaire Raiven Hansmann joined Dave for live shows in early 2017. Before joining forces with Dave on stage, Raiven had played a major role behind the scenes in co-writing a couple of The Kiffness’ tracks.

What sets The Kiffness apart from most electronic acts is their tangible instrumental talent. What’s more is that they are great performers, so crowds can expect nothing short of a huge vibe.

BOOK NOW

Jenny and the Jameses is an Original Celtic folk band formed in March 2015. The band comprises singer / songwriter Jennifer Eaves on lead vocals, guitar and piano, James Hall on violin and vocals, and multi-instrumentalist James Harvey on accordion, harp, flutes and vocals (and quite frankly whatever else he feels like playing on the evening).

The bands Debut album Untitled was released in early September / October 2015 and since then the band have been on a whirlwind adventure all over South Africa, and recentle touring Holland as support act for the Johnny Cleggs World Tour. After a year of touring their debut album and composing new material the band finds themselves in studio again on the verge of releasing their second album.

Jenny and the Jameses have performed in the Cape Town Folk and Acoustic festival, Knysna Celtic festival, White Mountain Festival, Taste of Darling Festival, Darling Beer Festival, as well as venues big and small, quirky and straight-laced, and humble and grand all around the country. They never fail to charm. Jenny and the Jameses are one of the most fun and refreshingly honest bands on the circuit and most certainly not to be missed live.
