Songstress BIANCA WOOD beckons the world further onto her journey as an artist. It is a dynamic voyage fused with unpredictability, honesty, and engrossing excitement.  With powerful, relatable and evocative vocal talent, potent song writing and innovative music production, BIANCA WOOD is one of South Africa’s freshest acts. She has appeared on festival and music stages all over South Africa and the audience is beginning to latch onto her compelling energy. This proud South-African artist is actively shaping and growing her purpose as a “voice” through the performing arts.

From a young age, BIANCA WOOD found herself obsessed with the songs her parents listened to –Stevie Nix, Rodriguez, Johnny Clegg, Mango Groove, Black, Stevie Wonder and Celine Dion.  Most recently, she also includes on her list the diverse likes of Snarky Puppy, Frank Ocean, Sia, John Mayer and Michael Kiwanuka.

BIANCA WOOD has channelled her life’s experiences into musical compositions. Having recently undergone somewhat of a musical surgery, the team at BIANCA WOOD is releasing a brand new EP, BIANCA WOOD – 3AM, being the first batch of a new Modern / Soul Electronic offering.

“During a tough but important journey with my first album – Time – I found myself performing alongside South African icons. This has taught me a great deal about this life in music and I keep learning and growing. I wanted to find a unique style that compliments my vocal instrument while my music remains relevant and authentically South African. I am proud to say that I believe I have done just that by taken a plunge into the world of electronic music. This has been the best experience in music so far and as the procedure continues and my skillset in song writing and music production is growing, our experiences as a team become stronger and better.  By staying true to what I hold dear in music and its responsibility, we are telling stories. Finally, BIANCA WOOD – 3AM is here. And this is just the beginning!”
