This presentation addresses the importance of normalising and integrating sex Ed into a child’s everyday life, so that they are empowered and supported to move into and through puberty, make value-based choices and enjoy healthy, happy relationships. It offers much practical advice.
About Linda Bruce:
inda is a mother of three and an Economics and Industrial Psychology major from Stellenbosch University. Linda released her first book, “Motherhood and Me” through Oshun, an imprint of Random House Struik in 2008. She also ran regular Motherhood and Me workshops, inspired by her personal experiences. In 2009, Linda founded Cool to be Me.
She set about devising and developing a programme for foundation and intermediate education phases that would develop and enhance young children’s emotional intelligence and social well-being through a series of fun stories and activities. Linda is an integral part of all curriculum development, story-writing and the production additional resources needed for the programmes’ successful implementation.
