Mel will be accompanied by the one-and-only Simon Orange (Hammond piano & vocals) and Sjanel Vosloo on backing vocals.
Over 20 songs will be performed along this scintillating journey of rock at its very best, including Comfortably Numb, Echoes, Speak to Me, Breathe, Happiest Days of our lives, Another Brick in the Wall, Parts 1,2 and 3, Wish you were here, High Hopes, and many more, all ensuring the audiences will be provided with a never-to-be-forgotten show!
Mel has always acknowledged that Pink Floyd has had a big influence on his music career, with their influence being evident in both his songwriting and style of playing and can be seen in Mel’s original works; “David’s Confession” and in “Flight of Bird” and he has been in his element, while collaborating with Richard Nosworthy to bring “Crazy Diamond” to the stage.
Mel says “This production has been a big challenge for me and a very valuable learning curve. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to use everything I’ve learned about playing music over 30 years to help me interpret Pink Floyd’s” music.
