With influences from international talent such as Two Door Cinema Club, The Kooks and Muse and locals such as The Plastics, Mobbing Bali are distinctively edgy and create music that is decidedly engaging and provides evidence …of their natural talent.
Mobbing Bali have released an EP, ‘Credo’ which aims to take the listener of a musical journey, containing original music with classical, Latin and pop elements, grounded on the basis of a progressive indie genre.
In 2016, Mobbing Bali recorded three of their original tracks at the Red Bull Studios in Cape Town and received positive reviews for the EP.
“Their sound is straight-forward and expertly realised through strong, technically honed musicianship, while the music itself is pure, inventive rock n roll, experimental enough that it doesn’t sound by the numbers, but bullshit-free and immediately likable to anyone with a taste for the spectrum of emotionally driven indie rock over the past two decades.â€
– Red Bull Studio
“With some of South Africa’s biggest music names at the moment being of the indie rock persuasion, there is little room for new bands to manoeuvre, however Mobbing Bali are well on their way to making a significant impact.”
