Eva Marie Cassidy was an American singer known for her interpretations of Jazz and Blues. She was practically unknown outside her hometown, until her posthumous recognition…
Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Fields of Gold and Songbird were but a few of the songs she delivered so beautifully, until her passing in 1996.

“A very special, multi-faceted and talented young lady who is driven by a love for what she does -and it shows. She also has a magnificent voice and knows how to use it whether rocking flat out or crooning a gentle balled. Miss her and miss out!” – Norman Carless
“Well presented and put together. Trio worked well together with humour coming through. Eva Cassidy is very hard to emulate as she had such an unique range and style.”
“It was the first time that I listened to Tanja Storm – and what a pleasure it was, especially her renditions of Eva Cassidy’s wonderful type of singing. Also, her simultaneous accompaniment on the piano was top-class. I also am a pianist of sorts and can assure you that she could have embarked on a career relying solely on her pianist skill – and to accompany your own singing is no mean achievement.”
