This is the amazing story about the coming together of two iconic South African Songwriters, from two very different sides of the fence.
Marcia Moon, a young, alternative, electro folk storyteller singer and songwriter from the North in Pretoria singing contemporary tales of her life experiences, from the streets of Hilbrow, to the farm and up the West Coast, in her mother tongue Afrikaans and English
And Bill Knight, a weathered well-travelled poet and troubadour from the Deep South, bringing to life in song a ‘mengsel’ of memories, from nights down at the harbor in Kalk Bay, jols in and around town, growing up in the midst of the paranoid apartheid regime.
After sharing the stage a few times, here they come together formally for the first time to bring you a show that weaves a tapestry of combined yarns, so very different but with so many common threads to give you a dark but delightful music escape here in Noordhoek, under a Moonlit Knight.
Their stories are held together with the help of mutual friend and fellow musician Derek Craig on his hybrid percussion and drum rig.
