Tracy Norman is a Cape Town based singer-songwriter & guitarist who captures the audience with her soulful voice and heartfelt performance. Her songs are a thoughtful reflection of the beauty and struggle of life and her lyrics are honest and real. Tracy has been a three time finalist in the Barleycorn song-writing competition (2011, 2017, 2018), placing third last year. Her mix of delicate acoustic pieces as well as more dynamic numbers offers an opportunity for the simple yet mesmerising way that music moves us. Tracy performs both as a solo artist as well as alongside her four piece band, which features the local talents of Stephen De Souza (double bass), Lilavan Gangen (percussion) and Jono Prest (trumpet). Catch Tracy and the full band for this performance at Cafe Roux.

Sarah McArthur is a singer-songwriter and teacher from Cape Town. Her music is grounded in storytelling, often confessional, and explores the things that we all experience in our relationships and in our lives. She has performed around Cape Town at venues like the Alma Cafe, Cottage Club, Cafe Roux and the Barleycorn Music Club, where she won their songwriting competition in 2016 year and placed in the top ten last year. Most recently, she recorded her debut EP Under Water with Wren Hinds of South Sea Records, which she launched at the Alexander Bar Theatre.

Ann Donald is a born and bred Capetonian who has been playing viola for 25 plus years. She grew up with a classical foundation, playing in symphony orchestras and quartets. These days she prefers improvising, freelancing and playing various genres ranging from folk to blues. Sarah and Ann have been playing together for several months. Together they create a delicate balance of guitar, melody, harmony and strings. They are joined by Jeanre Leo on drums.
