It feels like winter is finally kicking in….love our little venue at this time of year.  The fire will be burning, the Wolftrap Red will be flowing & the good music just keeps on coming….On Sat night, we see THE PLASTICS return to cafe Roux, Cape Town’s most loved & highly rated Indie Pop band. They give us a brilliant stripped-down set of their old & new material which goes down so well in an intimate setting (

The next week is busy, starting off with the legendary KAHN MORBEE on Thursday (4th of June). The frontman & song writer of one of SA’s biggest bands, The Parlotones, has released his own album which has been very well received. This show is sold out but we have a potential 2nd show in the diary for the end of June if the demand is there.  So please send us an email if you are keen to see Kahn live….( night (5th of June), we host the HINDS BROTHERS. They hail from Durban & are the two younger bothers of Craig Hinds, of Watershed fame. Their Debut album “Ocean of Milk” was released to critical acclaim & was nominated for a SAMA – a huge achievement for a debut album. A beautiful acoustic duo, with engaging lyrics & beautiful harmonies. ( finish off next week with the very lively SUITCASE HEARTS on Sat night (6th of June). They’re a seven-piece band playing a mixture of many influences, ranging from Country to Blues, Jazz & Folk. The band consists of a powerhouse lineup of musicians – moonlighting from bands as famous as: Freshlyground, Moodphase 5ive, Kolo Novo Movie Band, Adamu, The Honeymoon Suites, Benguela, Bone Key & The Dalem.
